What is our vision as a church?…

Where are we going?..

Why not come and join the Rock Revolution? We love Jesus and seek to honour him in all we do.

There are two aspects to our local vision at The Rock Church, Bradford.

At the Rock, we have a “Home leg” to our vision that involves reaching out to our local community. We do this in various ways, not least through our “Rock coffee House” which is open every Friday.

The Rock Centre

It’s been exciting seeing the ongoing refurbishment and the re-purposing of “The Rock Centre”, a dual space for the community that hosts our Rock coffee house and, indeed, a bespoke area for the Rock youth!

Church

We also have an “Away leg” to our vision, including planting more Rock churches around three hubs throughout the UK. Our shared vision is to have ten expressions of the church around the UK by 2030.

• Rock Midlands
• Rock North
• Rock South

We do not fully know how this will look or where all the churches will be. However, we sense that each region will have a central church hub of significance, which will act as a resource to other local churches in its given area.

Rock family churches

There will also be “Rock” relating churches that will be fully independent yet part of our wider family for encouragement, teaching and relationship.

Church planting

As well as this, we will have churches we will look to plant in some of the key cities in the UK & or repurpose under the Rock church name and banner.

Rock churches will be resourced with regular training, local conferences, and broader national conferences. Shorter day and weekend conferences will also be held around the various regions. This will help strengthen our relationships and ensure the local church leader is well-supported.

At the conferences, we have experienced church leaders of significance and integrity who will bring messages of faith, challenge & hope -and indeed, encouragement so that we leave conferences inspired by Jesus to make a difference where we serve.

We have four national conferences per year. As well as regional training days to augment the broader conferences.

Speakers have included Paul Benger, Steve Campbell, Dave Niblock, Paul Hallam, Betty King and Jo Hargreaves & many more renowned Bible teachers who are experienced church builders.
