Our silver linings group had a fabulous time when we visited Elland for lunch recently.It was great to be finally out enjoying fellowship and good food after 2yrs of the pandemic!We had a fun time and we were so well looked after by our friends at Elland Christian Fellowship. The food was delicious and it was great to enjoy a meal together and indeed for Pastor Andy Freeman to not only act as chef but also share a little devotional with us to encourage us.We are aiming to go again in May, although the group has suggested a name change- “The silver surfers”. … love it!Hopefully it won’t be too long now until our own Bamboo Friday Cafe is open. We are aiming for Friday June 3rd- Queens Jubilee celebrations here we come.
