What a fantastic day we had at our Jubilee fun day!
The sun shone brightly and it was fabulous to see so many from our local community come out to celebrate with us.
It was a double celebration, as we celebrated our Queens 70th platinum jubilee alongside celebrating the upcoming opening of our “Bamboo Connect” pay as you feel community space# Coffee shop # cafe
Huge thanks to Alison and her willing band of volunteers.
For all the guys that helped supervise on the bouncy castle and various game stalls.
For all the guys on the BBQ and indeed all those who manned “Bamboo connect” and helped clear up at the end of the day.
Approx 200 people came through the day, we had loads of great conversations and it was just brill to all be together after the last 2yrs frustration of Covid and restrictions!
Many commented on the atmosphere of love and caring attitudes on hand.
Well done Church for showing Jesus love in action. Many said that they would be joining us at Bamboo on a Friday moving forward!
